(Verse 1)
In the Quran’s wisdom, a figure we revere,
Whose prayer unifies, its essence crystal clear.
My favorite Quranic figure, chosen and blessed,
Through his prayer, the Quranic world finds rest.
(Chorus)
“Our Lord, make us Muslims [in submission] to You and from our descendants a Muslim nation [in submission] to You. And show us our rites and accept our repentance. Indeed, You are the Accepting of repentance, the Merciful.” (Quran 2:128),
In prayer, we submit, seeking divine grace.
Bound together in worship, a united embrace.
(Verse 2)
“Allah is the ally of those who believe. He brings them out from darknesses into the light.” (Quran 2:257),
Through his prayer, hearts illuminated, spirits ignite.
With each prostration, we seek Allah’s embrace,
Guided by his words, our souls find solace.
(Chorus)
“Our Lord, forgive us and our brothers who preceded us in faith and put not in our hearts [any] resentment toward those who have believed.” (Quran 59:10),
In prayer, forgiveness flows, love we conceive.
United in brotherhood, barriers we transcend,
Embracing all believers, as Allah intends.
(Bridge)
“And the servants of the Most Merciful are those who walk upon the earth easily, and when the ignorant address them [harshly], they say [words of] peace” (Quran 25:63),
In prayer, we embody peace, conflicts cease.
With hearts filled with mercy, we strive to convey,
The message of Islam, through words we pray.
(Chorus)
“Our Lord, pour upon us patience and let us die as Muslims [in submission to You]” (Quran 7:126),
In prayer, we find strength, trials we overcome.
United in patience, we face every test,
Seeking Allah’s pleasure, in Him we invest.
(Outro)
In the Quran’s teachings, a prayer that binds,
Uniting the Quranic world, transcending all confines.
With reverence and devotion, we implore,
The Quranic prayer, forever we adore.
Note: The title of the song is “The Prayer of Eternal Unity.”
